This is where we begin working together.

First, please begin by watching this short video with quick instructions before you begin each step:

Option 1: The “One Step Closer” Challenge

Ask yourself:

  • What is one small thing I could do that brings me closer to what I want?

That’s it. This is your new goal for now.

Examples:

  • Send one email

  • Write one sentence

  • Show up once

  • Ask one question

Small steps are huge and will eventually lead you closer to the main goal you wish to accomplish.

Option 2: Build a SMART Goal

SMART goals help turn hopes into doable actions:

S – Specific

What exactly do you want to do?
The goal should be clear and focused.

M – Measurable

How will you track your progress?
Pick something you can count or check off.

A – Achievable

Can I realistically do this right now?
Your goal should feel possible with the support and resources you have.

R – Relevant

Does this matter to me?
Choose something meaningful to your life—not what others think you “should” do.

T – Time-Based

When will I do it?
Set a clear time frame to stay on track.

Example:
“By next Friday, I’ll write down three goals I want to work on this month and talk them over with my Life4Real team member.”

Option 3: Make It Visual

  • Write your goal on a sticky note

  • Put it in your phone

  • Draw a simple symbol that represents it

  • Create a short list titled “Things I’m Working Toward.”

Seeing your goal makes it feel more real—and reminds you that you’re trying.

Option 4: Celebrate the Wins (Yes, Even the Small Ones)

Try one:

  • Say “I showed up today” out loud

  • Share a win with your Life4Real team member or mentor

  • Treat yourself to something comforting

  • Write down one thing you did right today

Reflection:

After practicing, please send an email to wellnesswalk@life4real.com sharing one thought or takeaway. Your email will be reviewed by a Life4Real team member as you progress through this course. This helps us ensure your participation and better understand how we can support, encourage, and walk alongside you during this journey.

  • What felt difficult

  • What felt empowering

  • What you learned about yourself

Congratulations!
You’ve completed another course in the Wellness Walk Program! Thank you for your dedication to reflection and working through past traumas. Taking intentional time for yourself is a critical step in sustaining wellness and resilience. We look forward to continuing this journey with you and supporting your growth in creating balance and care in your life.
