Checkpoint Week: Pause, Reflect, and Recommit
This checkpoint week is a space to intentionally pause before moving forward. The purpose is to deepen reflection on the previous courses, strengthen accountability, and ensure the practices you are building are becoming part of your everyday life — not just ideas that can easily become looked over.
Before continuing, it’s important to recognize that real growth happens through ongoing reflection and accountability. Awareness is not a one-time step; it’s a practice that must be revisited regularly in order to create lasting change.
Take time today to reflect on why the following areas matter in your life:
Family & Trauma:
Our family experiences and past wounds often shape how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. Becoming aware of trauma — whether big or small — allows space for healing, understanding, and compassion. This awareness helps break cycles, reduce shame, and create healthier boundaries and relationships moving forward.Choose Your Hard:
Life will always present challenges. This course invites you to recognize that while discomfort is unavoidable, you do have a choice in how you face it. Choosing your “hard” means moving toward growth, responsibility, and long-term wellness instead of remaining stuck in patterns that feel familiar but limiting. Awareness here empowers you to make intentional decisions, even when they feel uncomfortable.Spirituality:
Spirituality helps us to connect to a meaning, purpose, hope, and strength beyond ourselves. While Life4Real is grounded in Christian beliefs, we recognize that everyone’s spiritual journey may look different. This course invites reflection on what grounds you, where you find hope, and what you lean on during difficult seasons. Exploring spirituality can provide stability, peace, and direction as you continue your wellness journey.Reflection helps you see where you’ve been, and accountability helps you stay committed to where you’re going. Today is about honoring the work you’ve already done and recommitting to these practices with intentionality.
